Dead before Dawn 3D

So I was bored and looking around on Netflix when I find this movie, Dead before Dawn 3d. I took a chance and watched it, and I'm glad I did. It was one of the funniest movies I've seen in a while. It was made in 2012, written by Tim Doiron and Directed by April Mullen.

It follows the story of a college kid who is having trouble passing his writing class. His name is Casper and he is best friends with a girl dating the TA and one of the football players. He has a crush on another football players girlfriend. Casper's grandfather, Christopher Lloyd, who owns an occult store asks him to watch the store for him. He doesn't want to but agrees out of guilt. While watching the store everyone shows up and they play around with the vase that Casper's grandfather told them not to touch due to a curse on it. The kids break the vase and joke around about a curse, anyone who looks them in the eyes will be overcome with the desire to kill themselves. They will then come back as a zombie demon and try to turn other by giving them hickeys. If they seduce  a zombie demon and make out with it then it becomes their slave. They have till Dawn to fix the curse.

The movie was really good, it was well written and the actors weren't bad. It was a good low budget B movie. It took typical horror rules and played with them in order to make you laugh. It was campy but not to campy and come on, who doesn't love a little camp in their horror? A real highlight of the movie was when Christopher Lloyd said "great Scott". The call back to Back to the Future was just great. If you are looking for something to watch to kill some time then you need to check this out.
