I stand by there is nothing better in this world than a good book. I just finished reading The Autobiography of James T. Kirk. It was such an incredible read. I finished the whole book in a single day. I couldn't put it down, I didn't want to.
The writer is clearly a fan of Star Trek, paying tribute to the Original series, Enterprise and the first six movies. It expands on Kirk's back story, from Kirk's own point of view. If you love Kirk, and I mean the William Shatner Kirk not the new one. This book is pure gold. Well there was one part that I didn't like if I am to be honest, and I don't see why I should lie. When the book gets to the fifth movie they make it seem as if an alien species who they visited early on turned them into a movie about breaking into the center of the galaxy and finding God. I know not a lot of people love the fifth movie but I do. Truth be told it is one of my favorites and I didn't care for how the writer pretended it didn't happen. Besides that the book is the perfect read for fans of Star Trek. Go and read it!
