Creed

​Anyone who knows me knows how much I hate remakes. There is nothing that bothers me more. Creed is a spin off that feels like a remake of Rocky and I loved it! Every second of it. Well some slight problems with it but not many. I was on the edge of my seat throughout the whole film. To be fair my intense love for this film might have to do with the fact that this film played on nostalgia like nobodies business and I ate it up like a kid in the candy store. I won't give away anything from the movie because to do so would rob you of the heart of it. Rocky, while being boxing films have always been movies about a man trying to make his way in this world. They are movies about a man who won't stay down and Creed is no different. I can't lie a few scenes brought tears to my eyes. You can't watch this movie and not see how much Ryan Coogler and Aaron Covington  love the old films. It pays tribute to all of the old movies, well only the slightest of references to 5 but other than that it showed a great deal of love for all of them.

Any fan of Rocky needs to go see this film. It is a heartfelt film  that pays nothing but love to the series that spawned it.
