Welcome to another episode written by the great David Greenwalt. It starts off with the trio of Scoobies watching a Bollywood film and trying to figure out the plot while a lone girl runs from a group of men in cloaks dressed up like monks. Is there any wonder why I love this show so?
Cordy practices laughing to impress a guy while Buffy and Willow walk and talk of guys, or well undead guys. Well one undead guy by the name of Angel. Cordy talks down on Xander, how he is beneath her and she only dates grown men. So why do they end up dating in a few episodes time? Oh Cordy, if only you knew what the future has to hold. Giles tries to make Buffy see how important it is for her to keep training more and more. If things are a bit slow around the hellmouth right now that is no reason to let up her work. It is time for her to work harder and get ready for whatever happens next. He tries to make her see how she has a purpose and that makes her special but she points out what again that she wants a nice normal life and none of this. She blows off the library as she is prone to do after school and meets up with Willow and Xander. Meanwhile Cordy practices her fake laugh and oh can you tell it is fake. Her college boyfriend has a friend who takes an intrest in Buffy and Cordy forces her to go and talk to him while Xander once more lets out his jealous side. Buffy isn't impressed by them, at least not until one of them starts to be all charming and what not and Buffy can't help but smile. He warmed his way into her heart. Buffy still turns the man down just as Giles calls her to train. He is not happy. She runs after him as Xander and Willow look on, wishing they had money and cars like those guys. Buffy finds a bracelet on the ground and Angel pops up out of nowhere. We see how much the two of them care about each other but Angel pushes her way. Telling her that it would be too hard for the two of them to be together. It would only cause them pain so Buffy storms off. The next day at school Cordy asks Buffy to go with her to the college party and Buffy says yes in order to get over how Angel treated her. Turns out the college kids are doing demon sacrifices underneath their fraternity. Xander tries to get Buffy put on patrol duty but she lies and tells Giles that her mother is sick and she can't go. Willow lectures her about the party and how it isn't good for her to go but Buffy doesn't want to hear it. She just wants to have fun, tho Cordy tells her that this isn't about fun, it is about helping Cordy find her place in the world. Xander decides to go to the party as well, in case there is an orgy. Cordy and Buffy make it to the party and Cordy still doesn't know how to drive. She can't park worth a damn, almost as bad as me. Almost the second they make it inside Cordy ditches Buffy and runs off with some guy, leaving Buffy standing alone against the back wall. Poor girl. A drunk guy tries to get a hold of Buffy but the guy who swept her off her feet at school shows up and asks her to dance at the last minute. After the dance she goes outside, if she had stayed inside she would have seen Xander carried off. The guy she was dancing with comes outside and finds her. The guy Cordy was with shows up and gives them each a drink. Buffy throws caution to the wind and takes a drink. Meanwhile Willow and Giles figure out that the bracelet went to a girl at the same school as the party. Xander is forced to wear makeup and wig as he dances for everyone, Buffy walks upstairs way too drunk off of one drink. She was drugged!! The creepy guy who was with Cordy walks in just as Buffy passes out on the bed, giving you a sick feeling in your gut like he is going to do something evil to her. Lucky the guy Buffy was with shows up and saves her, or well saves her from rape so that he can sacrifice her. Turns out that Cordy is knocked out right next to the bed. Willow and Giles find out that there are a lot of people missing and it is a year to the day that they went missing. Xander gets kicked out of the party, still in his wig and bra while Cordy and Buffy are tied up down stairs along with the girl who tried to escape earlier. Buffy's date is their leader and Cordy blames Buffy for everything. Giles and Angel try to figure out what to do with the information they have while Willow asks the important questions, how does Angel shave? Angel and Giles ignore her question and head to the fraternity but Willow cracks and tells them everything. Buffy's date starts saying a weird prayer and a snake demon comes out of the ground. His only goal is to eat the girls. Xander is in a robe and sneaks up on Angel, Giles and Willow who notices right away that Xander is still wearing makeup. Angel and Xander start fighting the guys upstairs while the snake goes after Cordy. Now how did Angel get in? Is it because it isn't a real house or what? Always confused me. Buffy breaks free and Willow cries out for a sword to help Buffy. Xander starts talking his problems out on one of the guys who made him wear lipstick. Buffy beats up her date and saves Cordy in the nick of time by killing the snake. Cordy thanks Angel for saving her instead of Buffy who is the one who saved her. Everyone heads upstairs but for Buffy and Giles. She apologizes and he surprises her by doing the same. It's a real growing moment for the two of them. Very sweet. The episode ends in one of the best ways possible. Jonathan is on a date with Cordy. Aw, how sweet!!! Oh and everyone from the fraternity, going back decades start losing everything. Seems Buffy messed up everything for them. Angel shows up at the Bronze to talk to Buffy and asks her for coffee. God i love this show!

I know that I have been away for some time. Things have gotten crazy around here, that is the truth my friends out there in the Blueroof nation. But I have not forgotten you or the many tasks I have set out for us. Most of my time has gone towards the Christmas Horror movie that I'm writing but I'm back and the goal is to be daily as I was when I started. The episode we come back on is a favorite if for no other reason than it allows us to meet Jonathan, the man who would one day bring us Empire, such a great show! Empire Season 1But this review isn't about Empire, it is about a far greater show. Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the second season is when things really started to get rolling and here we have their take on the mummy story written by Matt Kiene & Joe Reinkemeyer. As the episode starts out we learn that the school is having a foreign exchange program where students from Sunnydale High are having people from all over the world come to stay with them for awhile. Buffy is against it right off the bat but Xander thinks it sounds fun, at least until he finds out that it is going to be a man staying with Buffy. Then Xander goes away and Jealous Xander from episode one returns. Oh didn't we miss him so? The students are on a field trip to an old museum where we see a mummy looking all mummified and also meet the school bully who Willow seems to be friends with. Over the high school years we see how Willow always befriends the assholes, they like her because she helps them pass their classes. The bully tries to steal a seal off the mummy but it brings her to life and she wastes no time in killing him. Giles doesn't want Buffy to go to the school dance, he feels that it will distract her but she forces the subject till he agrees. Xander asks Buffy to go to the dance with him and Willow so that it isn't a date, Willow walks in unheard by the two of them as Buffy asks if Xander thinks about Willow sexually and he says no. Willow is hurt but plays like she didn't hear him. She tells them the bully is missing and Xander jokes that he woke the mummy. They go to check on the mummy and find the seal broken. They are about to leave when they are attacked by a mystery man. He takes off as quickly as he showed up. Willow notices that the mummy has braces. They now know that mummy killed the bully and left him for dead. Buffy goes to find her new exchange student. He is alone at the bus stop as a girl voice calls out to him, a scary looking mummy girl pops up out of nowhere and kisses him. A beautiful walks out when the Scoobies arrive and Xander is smitten the second he sees her. None of them question the fact that the boy is a girl. Well but for Willow who is jealous of how Xander looks at her. Xander is a bit of a racist. Talking to her like a stupid child when she clearly talks English just fine. the two of them hit it off swell. After Willow and Xander leave Buffy and the mummy start to bond. Buffy suspects nothing and the mummy seems very excited to be here in this new place. she wants nothing more than to fit in. The mystery man is standing outside the window watching them. Cordy doesn't like the exchange student that she was stuck with but lucky she is dating the singer of a band. What band? It is called Dingoes ate my Baby, the lead guitar is none other than Oz!!!! We finally meet one of the coolest characters in the buffyverse, the soon to be werewolf who steals Willow's heart and then breaks it. Giles asks the mummy to translate the seal and she tells him it has something to do with bodyguards. Buffy has to stay to help Giles so she tries to ask Willow to hang out with the mummy but Xander breaks in and takes the mummy away. Willow is heartbroken. Xander and the mummy hit it off and flirt hardcore up on the bleachers. Giles figures out that the mummy steals the life force of people right as Xander the mummy are attacked by the mystery man. They go back to the library and she begs them to destroy it but the mummy freaks out and storms out. Xander tries to cheer her up but it isn't working. Willow tells her to take the mummy to the dance as a date. Xander tells her that she is his best friend. Xander asks her out and she agrees, he then checks to make sure she isn't a bug, hey he is close. While in the restroom the mummy kisses the mystery man and steals his life force. Afterward she looks older but no one on the show notices, maybe its just me. She also says that she is in love with Xander, aw yay! Xander found love with yet another demon. Or close to it. The mummy tells Buffy not to unpack her stuff, she doesn't want Buffy to see that the stuff belongs to a man, lucky for the mummy Xander shows up at the door just then. Xander is dressed up as a cowboy. Buffy is shocked Willow isn't there but there is no denying how much the two like each other. The great part of this episode is how both Buffy and the mummy were called to great important tasks when all they wanted to do was live normal lives. Buffy sacrifices her normal life for the greater good while the mummy tries to sacrifice others for her normal life. We see how different the two of them all despite being the same. At the dance we see the beautiful Cordelia Chase in her sexy outfit and Willow dressed as an eskimo. Buffy and Giles figure out that she is a mummy and even how to beat her meanwhile Oz spots Willow from across the room and falls for her in a second. Sweet sweet love. One of my favorite couples on this show. The mummy takes Jonathan who finally shows up, into the back room and is about to kiss him when Xander shows up. She wanted to kiss him instead of Xander because she didn't want to hurt Xander, she needs one more life to be made whole. She kisses Xander and starts to drain his life but pushes him away. She loves him and can't hurt him. Meanwhile Giles puts the seal back together. She senses it and runs off to stop him while Buffy finds Willow and the two of them go off to find Xander, just in time for Oz to miss his chance to talk to Willow, poor guy. The three of them rush off to go help save Giles. He finishes the seal but she breaks it again and is about to kill Giles when Buffy shows up and stops her. The mummy is about to kill Willow when Xander stops her, he tells her the only one she can kill is him and she tries but it has been too long and she turns to dust. The day is saved and no one feels like they have one. Buffy tries to relate to what the mummy went through but Xander points out how Buffy isn't like her, Buffy is a hero. Such a great episode!! But don't take my word on it, go watch it yourself! The episode we have all been waiting for. Spike has arrived in this episode written by the one and only David Greenwalt. Now I know we have dealt with him a few times already but those were all made after the fact just take place first. This episode is the first time Spike showed up. It is his first appearance. How great is it that I get to watch and write this one on my birthday? That is great luck! The episode starts off with Snyder beating his chest in front of Buffy and a girl who seems to be even more trouble than Buffy. This girl stabbed someone and is being treated like she is in the same league as Buffy. Snyder put the two of them in charge of Parent teacher night. If they don't make it perfect one or both of them will be expelled. Yet another example of the expelled word being thrown around. Buffy fills the Scoobies in on what Snyder is making them do and they fill her in on all the bad stuff the other girl has done. Xander jinxes her by mistake by saying that nothing bad will happen. Cut to the scene we have all been waiting for! A black car runs over the welcome to Sunnydale sign and a man in a long black overcoat gets out. He lights up a cigarette and says home sweet home. Who is this man you ask? he is Spike!!!!! The one and only yo. The Anointed one is holding court looking for a replacement to lead their vampire religion. One man says he was at the crucifixion and Spike laughs saying that would make it Woodstock. Turns out Spike was at Woodstock. He moves into the warehouse and says he will lead the vampires on their religious day that makes their kind stronger. He also points out that he killed two slayers in his time. He is about to get into it when Drusilla walks in. Spike changes his whole mood when she enters. Fun fact, I'm friends with the actress who plays her on Facebook. Just thought that was cool. Oh and about Spike. . . How cool is that? I have his and Cordy's autograph. I want to try and get them all. Anyways back to the story. Joyce tells Buffy that she got a note in the mail telling her about the parent teacher meeting. She also tells Buffy that if she isn't doing good in school than she will never leave the house again. She tries to act like a good mother by telling her that school isn't everything and she will love her no matter what. She then follows it up blaming her for them being there and telling her that she doesn't want to be disappointed in her yet again. Can I just say I hate Joyce. Hate Joyce.
The next day Willow helps Buffy makes the flyers since the other girl doesn't show up. She is under so much stress so enter Giles and Jenny with information about the vampire holy day that makes them stronger than ever. Giles tells her this is more important but she points out she can't get kicked out of school. Willow and Xander offer to help take the weight off of Buffy's shoulders. Snyder shows up so Giles and Jenny take off. He says that Xander and Willow better not be helping her in the other girls place but they cover for her. Just as she shows up. Willow is helping Buffy study at the Bronze while Xander talks them into dancing. Spike shows up and watches them. You can see on Spike's face the attraction that he has for Buffy. It is all seen right here in their first meeting. The romance that would change his unlife for all time. He then sets up his fellow vampire so he can watch Buffy fight and introduce himself. The bad girl is captured by Spike while leaving a bar. The Scoobies all meet up in the library, Angel too and he tells them how dangerous Spike is. Meanwhile Dru talks to her dolls when Spike shows up with the bad girl to feed her. They talk briefly about what happened in Prague and how it almost killed Dru. It is the reason they came here to the hellmouth. The Scoobies, along with Cordy who is almost one of them are getting weapons ready for as Buffy stresses about making punch for the parent teacher meeting that night. Willow follows her and we learn that Buffy can't even make punch right. Joyce shows up early and Buffy sends Willow to keep her busy and away from Snyder. It almost works but at the end of the night Snyder catches up with Joyce and everything comes to a screaming end for the slayer. Giles learns that Spike is also known as William the Bloody. He also informs the others about how Spike has killed two slayers in the past 100 years. Joyce demands Buffy get in the car, she sounds pissed. So cue Spike and the other vampires breaking into the school to kill Buffy. The good news is they are early so they don't have the extra power. The bad news, there are a lot of people they can kill. Everyone splits up, Buffy leads a group including her mother and Snyder into a classroom while Giles and the other Scoobies end up in the library and Willow and Cordy end up in a closet. The vampires have no idea where Buffy went and Spike is not happy. The phones have been cut so they can't call any help. Giles sends Xander to go find Angel to help. Meanwhile Snyder says the vampires must just be some kind of gang. Buffy tries to keep everyone in the room safe but Snyder doesn't want to listen to her. Joyce tells Buffy she can't go out there but Buffy goes into the roof instead. Now what mom would let her even do that? Spike starts walking around the school calling out for the slayer telling her that he is going to kill her friends. He almost finds Willow and Cordy when he hears Buffy in the roof. Giles starts to unblock the library doors so he can find Buffy and Jenny tries to stop him. Lucky Buffy drops from the roof before he does it. She tells him that she is going to kill the vampires in the hall and when she does she wants him to get her mother and the others out to safety. Snyder and Joyce start getting into it. Some other parent tries to escape and it costs him his life. Spike breaks out the fire ax to help one of the vampires break into the classrooms. Angel pretends to take Xander as a snack to give to Spike. Buffy kills the vampire with the ax just before he breaks into the room with Joyce. Who doesn't even question it when the man who was cutting the door down is gone and replaced with her daughter. Joyce looking through the hole looks a lot like the dream from the last episode of season 4, I never noticed that before. Buffy finds the bad girl who picks up the ax and follows her to help out. Angel gives Spike Xander and they joke around about Buffy before getting ready to eat Xander. We then learn the bad girl is a vampire, something we should have known since she was last seen as food for Dru. Buffy kills the other vampires and she runs. She lets her mother out who then runs with Giles. She lets Buffy stay, bad bad mother. Very bad mother. Spike tells Angel he hasn't seen him out and about in a long time. Now see why I have issue with the first issue of Spike and Dracula? In that he learns about the curse, here he doesn't. You want another mistake, he also calls Angel his sire, when in fact Dru is his sire and Angel sired her. Spike attacks Angel who takes off with Xander and Buffy comes with the ax to fight Spike. The fight that we have been waiting for since the Bronze. It is a good fight between the two, while Angel and Xander fight others outside and Giles leads everyone else to safety. Joyce finally starts to think about her daughter just as Spike gets the upper hand and starts kicking Buffy's ass. He almost kills her till Joyce smacks him with the ax. Spike takes off and Joyce saves her daughter's life. I still don't like her. At all! The rest of the vampires flee and we learn that Snyder knows about vampire, he also pretends that he tried to stop the man who ran out of the school. Something isn't right there. Xander questions Angel about being Spike's sire but he doesn't answer just takes off. Joyce tells Buffy that she loves her and is glad that she can take care of herself. Willow and Cordy are still hiding thinking that the vampires are right outside. Back at the warehouse Spike offers an apologize for messing up the holy day but the vampires want his head. So he does want any kickass vampire would do, he kills the anointed one and takes over. Got to love Spike, how could you not? Also Happy Birthday to me! Welcome to the Frankenstein episode of Buffy written by Ty King. The episode starts off with a morbid tale of Angel waking up buried alive. He lets onto Buffy that he is jealous of Xander, he says he isn't but it is clear as day that he is. Their argument is interrupted by the vampire that Buffy came to slay. And slay she does. The second he is dust the fight starts back. Angel storms off and Buffy goes after him falling into an open grave. Angel says another vampire has risen. Now, as stated above, Angel dug his way out of a grave. Wouldn't he know how a grave that a vampire escaped from would look? Why is Buffy the one to figure out that some one dug it up and dragged the body away. Angel, as a vampire should have picked up on that.
The next day Buffy and Xander walk in on Giles asking a chair out. They give Giles a really hard time about liking Jenny, it's pretty funny. And jealous Xander from season one pops up once again. Oh how I missed him! It is nice to see that Xander and Angel are both jealous of each other. Willow is asked to check out some girls legs by her friend Chris's weird friend. She says no thank you, in a few years she would prolly be a lot more ok with it. Cordy reluctantly signs up for the science fair for extra credit. Chris and his friend talk about Cordy being perfect but Chris says that she doesn't work because she is alive. In the library we learn that Cordy had something going on with Chris's older brother. We also learn that the girl who was dug up was one of 3 girls who died in a car crash. They invite Cordy to help dig up the other graves to see if they were all stolen to become zombies but she says no. It was almost her entrance into the Scooby Gang but alas she turned it down. At the graves Giles and Xander dig up the graves while Buffy and Willow gossip. Now Buffy is the strongest one there, couldn't she help out a bit? But we learn some important information during this scene. We learn that Chris's older brother was died. Buffy jumps down and opens the coffin. Back at school someone or something is following Cordy. She gets freaked out. She runs for her car and blames Xander like he would waste his time stalking her. She drops her keys and sees someone coming towards her, she takes off running and hides in a dumpster. It turns out it was Angel. He is hurt that Buffy is at the graveyard and not at home, but that is changed when Cordy starts screaming. The Scoobies come into the library where they see Cordy and Angel waiting. We learn all 3 girls bodies are missing. Turns out that parts of the bodies are in the dumpster that Cordy was hiding in. It throws out all the ideas they have. Buffy suspects that it was a student but Angel says that it looked like a professional. Willow says a couple of the people at school could do it. Xander and Cordy have playful banter that sets up their romance just perfectly. Angel talks Cordy home, setting up their romance beautifully. Although we have to wait years and years for that. Chris leaves his house where his mom is just sitting watching old home videos of his brother playing football. How sad. You can't help but feel bad for Chris. The Scoobies look throw the lockers and figure out that Chris and his friend are behind all of this. We jump to a lab where the two of them are putting a woman's body together. The friend has pictures of Buffy, Willow and Cordy. He wants to use one of them to finish the project. The trio of Scoobies walk up on Giles as he waits all awkward on Jenny. Buffy gives some advice before they take off leaving Giles alone. He tries to ask her out but can't seem to spit it out. She interrupts him that she has to go to class. She then darts back out and invites him to the football game that night. He says yes. She even asks him out to Mexican food, the same thing Buffy told Giles to ask her out to. It's very sweet. I like Giles in love. Everyone should find love in their lives. Uh where is mine? The Scoobies find out that Chris and his friend are still missing a head. They need to find a fresh corpse or kill one. Meanwhile Chris's friend tells him that if they don't find a head soon they will lose the body. Chris doesn't want to kill anyone but his friend keeps pushing it. We then learn that this girl isn't for them, it is for Chris's brother, you know the dead one? Yeah they brought him back to life. He talks Chris into agreeing to kill a girl. The man picks Cordy, after all they did use to date. Giles takes off before helping the Scooby Gang so that he can go meet up with Jenny for their date. Buffy goes to Chris's house to look for him and finds only his mother watching the tapes still. The mother could care less about Chris. She only has eyes for her dead son. Buffy starts to feel bad for Chris, something that she didn't feel a few moments before. Buffy goes downstairs and finds the plans showing Cordy's head on the body. She is almost attacked by the monster but she leaves before he can get her. At school before the big game Chris and his friend kidnap Cordy. Buffy finds Cordy and saves her from Chris's friend. Cordy runs off to go cheer, leaving Buffy alone. She hears someone in the locker room. She goes looking for him and tries to talk Chris out of this. Chris starts to tell her why he is doing this, at first she thinks he is talking about his friend but she soon figures out that he brought his brother back. His brother goes crazy when the friend tells him what happened. Chris and Buffy find out that the brother has left the house. They run back to school, fearing the worst. Meanwhile Giles insults football to Jenny, not meaning any offense and she asks if that is how he handles every first date. He is excited to learn it is a date. Willow and Xander sit with them and Giles is beyond annoyed. Jenny finds it a bit funny. Cordy wakes up just in time to see the brother and friend getting ready to cut off her head and put it on the other body. Chris caves in and tells Buffy where they are. She sends him to get Willow and Xander while she goes to save Cordy. Cordy tells the brother she will date him anyways. She doesn't need the other body. He tells her that he needs her to be a freak like him so that she will stay loyal to him. Buffy shows up just in time. A fight breaks out, during which gas falls everywhere. As the fire spreads and the fight kicks into high gear Xander shows up and frees Cordy. Giles and Willow get Chris's friend out of the lab. Chris shows up and yells for his brother to stop. He lets go of Buffy and runs into the fire to be with the body they made for his wife. Angel shows up at the end of everything, not able to do a damn thing because he was late!!! Jenny asks Giles out on a second date. I'm happy for them! Meanwhile Xander tells Willow that he will never find a girl to date, Cordy picks this moment to walk up to him and try and thank him. He insults her and sends her away. It was almost the start of their relationship. A relationship that I am a big big fan of. I loved the two of them together. In the graveyard Angel and Buffy talk about their relationship and what it could be. It is a sweet ending to a crazy episode that couldn't be more Frankenstein if it tried. Right down to the fire. It's perfect. Now let's all get some rest so we can get to tomorrow's episode! Because . . . . Spike!!!!!!!!!! Buffy is back at the tail end of her summer after spending some father daughter time out in LA. The exciting season 2 starts off in this story written by Joss Whedon himself.
The episode starts off with Willow and Xander throwing movie quotes at each other until they start to get bored. Xander misses the excitement of fighting the undead as well as seeing Buffy who neither one of them have really seen or heard from since she left to LA to stay with her father. Xander starts to flirt with Willow and she is loving it. Setting the first tease of attraction that will ruin them both next season. Their almost kiss is interrupted by a vampire, who in turn has his dinner interrupted by Buffy herself. Seems the slayer has returned to Sunnydale at long last. The trio or Scoobies are glad to be reunited. Seems that LA was good to Buffy. No undead or anything while she was gone. Since Buffy came back he forgot all about Willow. They tell the slayer about where they buried the Master's body. Hank and Joyce talk about Buffy and how she was in LA. It seems she was acting weird over. Distant, almost as if something was on her mind, like the fact that she died maybe? Cordy is back in Sunnydale after a vacation as well and is already holding court with her lackeys. Snyder tells Giles that teenagers are useless, the second a pretty girl walks by they lose the ability to concentrate or even talk. Just then Jenny walks up and Giles proves it isn't just teenage boys but rather adults as well. The Scoobies all meet up in the hallway, Jenny now part of the group, and we learn that just because the hellmouth is closed doesn't mean the energy isn't still calling demons to Sunnydale. Giles starts Buffy's training back up, she isn't right. There is an anger in her that is worrisome to Giles. The Anointed one is still in town. A preacher vampire is now running things in his name. These damn religious vampires and all their vampire bible talk. Willow and Xander go and find Buffy sitting alone, they join her and try to cheer her up when Giles shows up and starts kicking her ass, choking the life out of her while Willow and Xander watch on. She pulls of Giles face and shows him to be the Master. It's all a dream, one that she is glad to wake up from. Sitting in her room is Angel. Seems he has heard that she is back in town. The two of them get into a fight quickly once he starts talking about work and she attacks him. Verbally not with the real fighting but still. He takes off but not before telling her that he missed her. She tries to say it back but he is already gone. Joyce tries to connect with Buffy but she will have none of it. Willow and Xander can't really get through to Buffy either but they don't seem to understand that she is going through a hard time. Cordy is being all nice to them. Seems that fighting the forces of evil has had an effect on her. They make sure that she hasn't been telling people about what happened. She tells them that her secret is safe and Buffy throws out a pretty good insult. It's the first time Willow and Xander see that something is wrong with her. Xander doesn't want to hear it when Willow tries to point out how messed up Buffy is acting. She puts cream on her nose, the same way Xander did when he almost kissed her but this time he doesn't try, he just tells her to clean herself off. Poor Willow. The preacher vampire orders his lackeys to dig up the Master. Meanwhile back at the Bronze Buffy shows up and tells Angel that she has moved on before asking Xander to dance and goes all seductive mode on him. She asks him if she has thanked him for saving her and if he wises she would before taking off. You want to feel bad for Xander because it was brutal but at the same time he was just a jerk to Willow so I guess it's karma right? Cordy catches up with Buffy outside and tries to talk her into stop being such a bitch but Buffy doesn't want to listen. She is could care less what Cordy has to say. Even less so when Cordy starts to speak the truth to her. Buffy storms off just as Cordy is kidnapped by the preacher's vampires. Buffy finds out that the Master's bones were stolen. Willow and Xander think that Buffy is possessed but Giles isn't sure. He starts to tell them what he thinks is wrong with Buffy when she shows up and Xander warns him off. Buffy confronts them about the Master's bones being stolen to bring him back to life. She blames Giles for all of this. She then tells Willow to shut up but Xander jumps to her aid. Only before Buffy could say anything Snyder shows up and sends the trio running off. Snyder says that he just knows Buffy will be expelled before the year is out. And you know what? He is right!!!! The Scoobies gather and Giles tells them that they need the person closes to the Master to bring him back. Buffy thinks that they mean her. The vampires throw in a note that shows them that they have Cordy. Buffy fires the other Scoobies and goes it alone. Telling them that she doesn't need them. Willow is pissed that Buffy is acting like this but there is nothing she can do. Angel follows Buffy and she makes it clear she doesn't want him around either. She even tries to fight him. Buffy, alone, enters the Bronze to look for the vampires who have Cordy and instead finds just one vamp pretending to be Cordy. Angel shows up anyways. He tells Buffy something isn't right, this is the bait but not the hook. Buffy still doesn't get it. Back at the library, Giles figures out that the vampires need the people who were in the room with the Master when he died, that would be Jenny, Willow, Cordy and Giles. Buffy rushes back to the library to find Xander beat up. He tells Buffy that all of this is her fault and if anything happened to Willow he will kill her. She asks why he was left behind when the others weren't. She takes Xander with her back to the Bronze where they torture the vampire pretending to be Cordy till she tells her everything she wants to know. The vampires are getting ready to do the spell when Buffy, Angel and Xander show up. She tells the guys to save their friends while she goes to fight the vampires. The fight starts and Buffy is taking all her problems out on these blood suckers. Angel joins the fight as Xander gets the others down. Giles and Jenny wake up in time to see Buffy going crazy. It comes down to Buffy and the preacher, well the preacher and his hammer. She burns him to death without even trying. It was too easy but his death seemed to snap something in her. She picks up the hammer and smashes up the Master's bones. Angel holds her once she is done. He knows what she is going through and wants to help her. Giles looks up, feeling helpless as any father would when seeing their daughter hurt. Giles tells Buffy that she needs to patch things up with her friends. That they will understand and accept her. She doesn't see how that will happen. She was horrible to them but they prove Giles right. They take her back with open arms. The Scoobies are back!!! The Anointed one survived the attack. Season 1 of Buffy is over but it is not yet time for season 2 of Buffy. In the meantime we have the events of Europe to deal with. In particular the reason that Spike and Drusilla show up in Sunnydale this season. Written by Drew Goddard himself. A great writer for such an important story.
This book tells the story of Prague and what happened to Drusilla that made the two of them flee to Sunnydale to try and help her. In this story she is captured and Spike is beaten and almost staked before being thrown off a bridge. He wakes up to find that Dru is gone. She wakes up tied to a chair that slowly puts spikes into her arms and legs. It is a device that is made to cause pain for vampires that they won't forget or get past. It is made so that the pain will stick with them for all time. Meanwhile elsewhere Spike fights his way through the mad doctor's men. Trying to find out how much information as he can to lead him to Dru so he can save her. The pain is driving her crazy, not hard since it is Dru and Angel made her crazy long ago. The mad doctor thinks that he may have pushed Dru too far so he gets ready to stake her but this is when Spike crashes in and saves her while killing the doctor. Dru is badly hurt and their only hope is in Sunnydale. Spike looks forward to killing his third slayer. This is a great story that sets up all of season 2. On top of that it is written by Drew Goddard, what could be better? Read it now! The first season of Buffy comes to an end in this episode written by Joss Whedon. It went by far too quickly. It starts off with Xander practicing what he is going to say to Buffy when he asks her out by trying it out on Willow. This must be so hard for Willow since she has such strong feelings for Xander. He of course doesn't even notice.
Meanwhile across town Buffy almost ruins Cordy's make out session while fighting vampires. It seems that more and more of the undead are coming into town and giving the slayer problems. Back at school Giles is pulling an all-nighter, it seems that the prophecy says the Master will rise and the slayer will die. Before he can look into it anymore the whole town is struck by a massive Earthquake. The Master is beyond excited, calling out glory, glory. Could he be talking about Ben? Is Ben Glory? Am I getting ahead of myself? Is he simply saying glory since he is all into his vampire religion and I'm just reaching? Most likely but it is still fun to think about. Buffy goes to school the next day and Giles is acting all weird towards her. Pushing her away, almost as if he can't stand to be in the same room with her. He has too much on his mind. She is bothered by the way he is acting but he doesn't explain, he just kind of sends her away. This is too hard for him, he cares about her too much, almost as a father cares for a daughter. The Scooby's walk out of class and Willow talks about nerds being in, it was true back then and even more true now. This show was oh so ahead of its time. Xander gives Willow the nod telling her to leave before kicking some kid out of his seat. He sits Buffy down and goes into his pitch, just a bit before changing tactics and just coming out with it. SHe sits there and watches him make a fool of himself. She points out that he and Willow are her best friends, he says Willow isn't looking to date her, or if she is she is playing it close to the chest, its a bit of unintentional foreshadowing that I've always liked. Xander tells Buffy that doesn't matter, she either feels something or she doesn't and she says she doesn't. He asks her to try and then makes a snide remark about Angel before storming off. I've been in both their places before and neither one is fun. I always feel bad for both of them. Emotions always make life so much harder. Poor Xander, poor Buffy. Poor me. Giles calls Angel asking him to come meet him after the sun goes down and Jenny shows up to tell Giles she is scared. That signs all point to the end times and that a monk keeps emailing her about the anointed one. Giles is sure he is dead but snaps at Jenny to go and find out everything she can from the monk. She doesn't like that he is being so forceful but she does as he asks. This is a more manly Giles that we won't see again for a few years. Cordy is getting ready for the dance and even sucks up to Willow a bit to ask her a favor. It is nice to see how much Willow has grown over this season. She is more sure of herself and less mousey. She spots Xander and breaks off from Cordy to go talk to him. He tells her how bad it all went. He asks her to be his date and she shoots him down. She doesn't want to be his back of date and who can blame him? I love Xander, even if the internet hates him, but that was cold. Willow is his best friend and he knows how she feels about him, how could he not? He had no right to treat her like that. Blood comes out of the sink, sending Buffy to go find Giles who she finds talking to Angel. She over hears him saying that she is going to die tomorrow night. This makes her laugh, people do weird things when they find out bad news. The two men go to find her freaking out. At first she keeps her cool, just asks a lot of questions like is Giles going to train the new slayer, or how she dies, or if it will hurt or why Willow had never seen anything like this before and Buffy makes her promise to stay in before going back to her slayer duties. Oh and Willow likes the dress. Jenny gets up to speed on everything that is going on with the Master and Buffy. It also seems the monk who knew about the anointed one is missing. The last thing he sent out implies that the anointed one is a kid. Giles plans on going against the Master himself but Buffy stops him. Buffy knocks him out and tells Jenny to tell Giles she said something cool. Jenny points out that it will cost her life and Buffy says maybe she can take him with her. Buffy finds the anointed one and tells him that she knows who he is. He leads her into the tunnels. The Scooby's meet up in the library as everyone gets up to speed. Willow and Xander don't seem too happy that Jenny is here. Xander takes off to go save Buffy leaving everyone else to sit and plan the next move. Xander heads over to Angel's house and tells him to take him to the Master's lair. Angel points out how out of league Xander is but Xander pulls out a cross and tells him he hates him but Buffy likes him and he needs Angel to prove Buffy right. They both know that the other loves her and the two of them go to look for her. Jenny and the others change tactics and start looking for the location of the hellmouth. Buffy finally comes face to face with the Master. She tries to act tough and even fires an arrow right at his heart. To bad he catches it. Angel and Xander are not getting along as they go looking for her. Willow and Giles put together that the hellmouth must be at the bronze since that is where the harvest was. The prom is going on there as they speak so Jenny and Willow rush off to warn everyone. The Master catches Buffy from behind. Her fate is sealed. The vampires close in on the school and we learn that the hellmouth isn't at the bronze it is under the school. The Master uses his powers to bring Buffy to him, the Master tells her that she sets him free by coming there. Her blood gives him the power. He bites her and drinks from her. I'll never know why he didn't drain her, he just drank a little and drops her into a puddle. Tells her he likes the dress and breaks out of the barrier. Angel rushes to the lair and Xander is right behind him. Angel pulls Buffy out of the water and tells Xander that she is dead. CPR is the only thing that can save her and only Xander can do since Angel is already dead and has no breath. Cordy saves Willow and Jenny as the vampires close in on the school. See she is a hero, the best hero of them all! Buffy wakes up coughing out the water. Xander saved her life. The slayer is back yo! Cordy drives through the school to get to the library, you just have to love her. You have to, if you don't there is something wrong with you. The girls make it to the library and Giles tries to block the door. The vampires keep trying to break it down. Meanwhile behind them some kind of demon tentacle starts to break through the floor. The Master takes in the surface world now that he is free as Buffy leads Angel and Xander to go find the Master. Buffy feels different, somehow stronger than she use to. Why? I don't know but she does. The vampire swarm into the library from all sides. Buffy somehow knows right where the Master is and is on a mission to stop him. Xander and Angel stand guard while Buffy goes to face the Master alone. The tentacle demon breaks into the library from under the library and Giles figures out where it is. The Master is freaked out by Buffy still being alive. He uses his powers to pull her towards him once again. Giles tries to keep the demon at bay as it tries to kill the girls. Buffy breaks free of the Masters spell and starts to kick his ass. Xander is showing himself as a better and better fighting against the undead now. The Master gets ahold of Buffy but she breaks free and knocks him down into the library. He gets stabbed through the heart and dies. The demon is sucked back into the hellmouth that closes. The vampires flee. For some reason the Master turned to bones instead of dust. The Scooby's all get together and decide to go to the bronze. After all the day is won and Buffy is back from the dead. The season ends with Angel talking about how much he likes her dress. Such an amazing end to the first season. How could anyone not love this show? It is so ahead of its time. Here we have the last of the season one episodes that sets something up that is never followed up on. In this story by Joss Whedon that was written by Ashley Gable & Thomas A. Swyden, we meet a girl named Marcie who turns invisible and gets recruited by the FBI but we never see her again, not even in the initiative season. It is a damn shame.
Cordy is telling Harmony and her boyfriend about what kind of dress she is going to wear to the dance and Buffy runs into her. Cordy and Harm mock Buffy as they leave her behind looking like a fool. Cordy then jumps into talking about the time in the first episode when Buffy attacked her. Cordy actually knows what she is talking about in her English lit class. This is one of the first times we see that Cordy is smart as well as beautiful. Her boyfriend brags to his friends that he is going hook up with Cordy. His friends take off and a floating bat with a girl's laugh beats the hell out of him. The next day Cordy is bribing people with food to get them to vote for her and Willow and Xander fall into inside jokes about how stupid Cordy use to be. They see that Buffy isn't into it so they mock the idea of winning the title queen at a dance and Buffy says at her old school that was important to her. Xander tries to back track but they are interrupted by news that Cordy's boyfriend was beat by a floating bat. Buffy goes to investigate but Snyder stops them, at least until Willow and Xander start talking about a lawsuit. Once in the locker room Buffy sees that someone wrote Look on the lockers Giles finds the Scooby's in the caf and tells them that he is worried about all of this. It doesn't seem like anything he has ever heard before. One of his guesses is an invisible creature, that was almost on the mark. His other guess, that of it being a ghost is what everyone thinks is the answer. Xander is asked to help Giles but wants to switch with Buffy, at least until he is told he has to talk to Cordy, aw if he only knew what is to come. Cordy isn't worried about her boyfriend being beat up, she is instead worried about how she will look standing next to him. Buffy tries to talk to Cordy when Harmony is pushed down the stairs. The girl laughing is heard this time by Buffy, she takes off to follow it as Snyder tells Harmony not to sue. Buffy is attacked by the invisible girl. Buffy bumps into her and figures out that it isn't a ghost but a real girl who can turn invisible. The Scooby's try to figure out who it is, the only thing they have to go on is that it has something to do with Cordy. Buffy stays late to protect Cordy and we can see just how jealous she is as she watches Cordy get ready. She misses the limelight. As Giles looks up invisible girls he runs into Angel who came to talk to Giles and says that it is too hard to be around Buffy because of how he feels about her. Angel wanted to talk about the Master. He warns that something big is on the way. It turns out that Angel has the book that Giles is missing about slayer lore. We keep seeing flashbacks of this girl, Marcie trying and failing to be friends with Cordy. Meanwhile in the here and now Cordy is named queen. While Cordy is talking we see two men in suits watching her. Later that day Buffy finds Marcie's yearbook and figures that she must be the ghost girl. The teacher who was helping Cordy is attacked by Marcie, she puts a bag over her head and chokes her out. Cordy shows up and saves her life. On the board, writing itself is the word Listen. It turns out that they all knew her but none of them remember her. They also learn that Marcie really is out to hurt Cordy runs into the library to ask Buffy for help. Buffy agrees to help her out. None of them have ever heard of look, listen and learn so they are all confused about the last word. Buffy and Cordy talk about what it is to feel alone. Cordy says that she feels alone all the time, that most of her friends just want to be around her so that they can feel popular but don't really care about her or what she thinks. The Scooby's hear her playing the flute and go to find her. Buffy stands guard outside the closet while Cordy gets changed. Marcie leads the Scooby's into the boiler room where it turns out she was playing a tape to trick them into going down there and locking them in. Buffy starts talking about when she use to be popular and Cordy mocks her until she stops talking. Buffy goes inside only to find Marcie has captured her. Meanwhile the gas is on full down in the boiler room. The Scooby's don't have much time left. Buffy takes a hard fall and is put to sleep with drugs. Buffy and Cordy wake up tied to chairs where the word Learn is written for all to see. Cordy's face is numb and Marcie gets ready to cut into it while the Scooby's try to escape the boiler room. It all seems hopeless. The Scooby's pass out and Marcie cuts Cordy. Buffy breaks free and knocks Marcie back while Angel saves the Scooby's and shuts off the gas. Buffy tries to fight Marcie but it is hard when you can't see who you are fighting. She tells Cordy to shut up and she starts listening for Marcie, it works and she knocks her down, just as Buffy starts winning the men in suits show up and tell everyone that they are FBI. They take Marcie and leaves. Everything seems to be back to normal, but Giles lies to Buffy about Angel saving them and Cordy tells the gang thank you. Willow invites Cordy to lunch but her boyfriend shows up and she falls back into form. Marcie is sent to a school full of invisible kids who are being trained to become assassins. Something that could have been called back to later on even in the comics but never was. This one bothers me the most out of all of them because it is such a cool idea. Bring back Marcie! This episode that has a story by Joss Whedon and was written by David Greenwalt starts off with a bang. Buffy is walking through the Masters lair and he moves in for the kill when Buffy wakes up. Joyce sends her off to school but assures her that her father is going to come see her this weekend. Buffy tells Willow that her parents got divorced last year but were separated a while before that. It doesn't really fit with the comics but that means they messed up since this came first.
We learn very quickly that Xander only pays attention to what girls wear and not what they say, even if the girl in question is his teacher. Buffy spots a little boy hanging out outside the classroom and moments later a kids book is over come with spiders. They swarm all over him. Buffy keeps having nightmares, waking up screaming throughout the night. Buffy keeps worrying that her father isn't going to come for her but Joyce keeps telling her that she will show. Giles was lost in the back of the library. He seemed shaken. The Scooby's go to talk to the guy who was over run with spiders and he tells them how he loves spiders, until he was set off to camp and his brother let them all die and ever since he has had nightmares about spiders overrunning him. He blames himself for getting them all killed. Cordy tells Buffy there is a history test and Buffy follows her. She isn't ready for it, Cordy seems unusually cheerful towards her. It is nice to see them getting along again. If only for a bit. Buffy goes to write her name on the test and her pencil breaks. Time seems to just be flying by. Her history teacher is a guy but in the pilot wasn't it a woman? She talked about the fun part of the black plague was. . . I think that was a mistake but it could just be part of the nightmares. A girl goes down stairs to have a smoke break and the creepy little boy tells her that she shouldn't go down there. A monster attacks her beats her up, ironically there is a sign that says smoking kills. Buffy and Giles go to visit the girl who was beat up and she tells them that the only thing she heard was lucky 19. It turns out that she is the second victim. The first is the little boy who Buffy keeps seeing around the school and he is in a coma. People around the school start having their worst fears come true. Xander and Willow walk into class and suddenly his clothes are gone. Giles can't read, he can normally read 5 languages. Buffy thinks the coma kid might be astral projecting. They are trying to figure it out when Hank Summers, Buffy's dad shows up and asks to talk to her. They go outside and he says that it is time to tell her the truth. He tells her that they broke up because of Buffy. Her being there was too much for them to handle. They couldn't deal with it. She ruined their lives because she was rude and not as smart as she should have been. He also tells her that she is being immature by crying about it. He also tells her that he doesn't want to do these weekend visits anymore, they don't do anything for him so he leaves. She sees the coma boy. Xander and Willow head to the library to find Giles and Buffy. They only find Buffy, she is still elsewhere. Willow puts together that it is everyone's nightmares coming true. Giles said that dreams would be a wacky musical version of this. . . can you say Once More With Feelings!!! Giles and Willow put together that it must be Billy, the coma kid. They need to stop him fast because he just turned Cordy, my love, into a nerd with bad hair and that can not stand! Buffy goes to talk to Billy. He is so sad, poor kid. He is lucky 19, or at least that is what the monster calls him. Buffy tries to get the information out of him but the monster shows up and starts attacking the slayer. He is a lot stronger than she is, forcing Buffy to run. The Scooby's split up to find Buffy. Willow spots Cordy being dragged kicking and screaming into the chess club. That poor poor girl I should go save her. Some grabs Willow and she screams as we jump over to Xander finding a blocked off part of the school and a trail of candy bars leading him down a path he should not follow. Look I love candy but even I'm not that stupid. Come on Xander!! Buffy and Billy end up at the baseball field where the kid tells Buffy how he messed up the game. He should have won it for them. Buffy points out that there were other kids playing and it wasn't all his fault. The monster has found them again! They run off! Leading them to a cemetery. Willow is thrown on stage to sing an opera, something she doesn't know how to do!! She is scared out of her mind of being in front of people as we learned last episode with the dramatic reading. Xander is attacked by a killer clown, something that he has been afraid of since he was 6. Buffy and Billy are attacked by the Master who throws her in a coffin and buries her alive, something that I has always been scared of, and something that will come back to hunt her in a few years. Willow and Giles find Xander as the killer clown chases them down, until Xander mans up and knocks the clown out. It makes him feel a lot better. No one else seems to be facing their fears the way he is. Willow spots that the graveyard is across the street and it is night there. They find Buffy's gravestone. Giles is devastated. Buffy digs her way out of her grave, something she will do again years later. Giles and the others freak out for a moment when they see that she is a vampire. He tells her that they can fix this. She just has to keep it together till then. The Scooby gang goes to Billy's room and see his astral form telling him that he is too scared to wake up. The monster attacks. Buffy goes to face him. Vampire slayer verses the monster, it is a lot closer fight this time. Buffy knocks him out. She tells Billy to come finish it himself. He does it and the nightmares all go away as Billy wakes up. Just then the coach shows up and calls the boy his lucky 19. Buffy tells him he is awake and the coach doesn't seem happy. The boy calls him out on it and he tries to run off but Xander and Giles catch him. The coach gets arrested and Buffy's dad, her real dad comes to pick her up, thus ending this episode. I like this episode a lot because it shows us that sometimes the most evil of monsters are really humans. We are the most evil thing in this world and this episode shines a light on it. We have made it to the episode that introduces us to the greatest demon hunter ever. . .Sid! Written by Rob Des Hotel & Dean Batali. The episode starts off with a voice talking about being made whole again. We move through a group of untalented students getting ready to audition where see a kid with a creepy puppet and hear Cordy trying and failing to sing. Giles is stuck supervising it, while he talks about the new principle named Snyder. The Scooby's sit and mock Giles for a while before running into the new principle, he forces all 3 of them to sign up for the talent show. Poor kids.
The kid with the puppet named Sid, additions and half way through it the puppet starts talking in its own voice and makes fun of the kid. Getting a reaction from everyone. Back in the locker rooms a girl is getting changed when she hears someone coming. The voice from the start yells that it will be made fresh and she screams. The kids trying to show off skills and talents at this school are just jokes. Willow, Buffy and Xander are practicing a dramatic scene but Xander isn't in the spirit of it. The puppet hits on the girls and they get annoyed at his host for it. Snyder talks to Giles about how he is going to change everything about the school. He is going to whip it into shape. He doesn't think kids should be treated like people. The girl is the locker room had her heart removed. It was removed by a knife, so the gang is thinking that it was a human and not a demon who did it. Buffy keeps pushing demon but Giles isn't buying it. I forgot how many times this first season Giles is wrong and one upped by Buffy. It's kind of funny. The gang goes to start questioning everyone about the girl and they all point them towards the kid with Sid. The kids name is Morgan. Buffy talks to Morgan and sees how he keeps holding his head. Sid tells Buffy off and she thinks it is Morgan. She hasn't yet put it all together yet. The Scooby gang thinks it is Morgan who is doing everything. Buffy is fighting against this believe but everyone is against her. Buffy breaks into his locker and someone is watching her. Out of nowhere Snyder gets a hold of and tells her he is watching her. Someone else is still watching both of them. She goes to get Sid but he isn't in there. We see that Sid and Morgan are the ones watching them. In a empty room Sid and Morgan are talking about Buffy and having to get rid of her. Once she is gone Sid will be free. Morgan fights against it. Joyce wants to go see the talent show but Buffy doesn't want her there. She thinks that Joyce will be safer if she doesn't come. Buffy goes to sleep and Sid watches her from outside her window. Buffy lets out a scream and there is no sign of Sid. Joyce tells her it was all a nightmare. The magician keeps messing up his act as Cordy fights with Giles about where in the show she preforms. Buffy tells the other Scooby's about what happened the last night. She tells them that she thinks it was Sid and all they all make fun of her. The rest still thinks that it is Morgan and not Sid. Meanwhile Giles finds out about a tribe of 7 demons who need to get 7 human organs to stay looking like humans. They now think that Morgan might be one of these demons. In class the next day Sid keeps watching Buffy and turns to talk to Morgan. The teacher snaps at him and Sid talks back to the teacher. She takes the dummy up and Morgan is bothered by this. Sid keeps talking trash from inside the locked cabinet. After class he goes to see the teacher to get Sid back but he is missing. Morgan freaks out. It turns out that Xander stole him and brings him into the library to show the rest of the Scooby's. Xander keeps slamming his head into things to prove he is not real. Buffy goes off to find Morgan. Xander is having way too much fun with all of this. Willow and Giles go to do more research. Buffy starts looking around under the stage where the only person she finds is Snyder who threatens her. He is very creepy and it wouldn't be a stretch to think that he is the demon. Willow finds a passage that says that if a doll has life it can harvest human organs to become a human. Now they start to agree with Buffy about the killer being Sid. Buffy finds Morgan's dead body and gets trapped under some lights. The demon. . . or puppet stole Morgan's brain and now is closing in on Buffy. She tries to get free but Sid shows up and tries to kill her. She gets free and traps Sid, the two of them both tell the other that they will never be human. Buffy takes Sid back to the Scooby gang and we learn his back story. He was a demon hunter who was cursed into a dummy. Sid has killed 6 out of the 7 demons and if he can kill the last one he will be free. Now that the demon has the brain he will have taken off so they just need to find out who is missing. Buffy figures out that when Sid kills the last demon he will die. But it will be a blessing for him. He is ready to go. No one is missing from the show. Buffy hops down to talk to Giles and Sid is gone. They are back to thinking he did it. Snyder watches on all creepy like making us think he might have did it. Buffy finds Morgan's brain so now we know the demon or dummy or Sid still needs a brain. They find out that Morgan has cancer and that is why the brain was rejected. Buffy and Xander think the demon is after Willow, meanwhile the magician is working with Giles. He is trying to cut his head open since he is the demon!! Xander figures out that the demon is after Giles. Buffy runs off to go find him. She stops the demon from cutting off his head at the last minute but the rope still breaks and is about to cut off Giles head until Xander saves him. Together Buffy and Sid manage to kill the demon and save the day. Giles is shaken. Sid turns into just a dummy, his spirit leaving it behind. The episode ends with the Scooby's doing the drama reading. It is bad. Very Very Very bad. So bad that Willow runs off stage. |
